Disclaimer

Information on https://ps2-bios.net/ is provided for general informational purposes.

This disclaimer explains limitations associated with our content and related resources. Please read it alongside our Terms and Conditions.

General Information

Our articles may discuss PS2 BIOS firmware, emulator setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.

These explanations support general understanding. They do not replace current official documentation, qualified legal advice, or official technical support.

We aim to provide useful information but do not guarantee that every statement is complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances.

Independent Status

PS2 BIOS is an independent website.

We are not affiliated with, authorized by, sponsored by, or endorsed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, PlayStation, or emulator developers mentioned on our pages.

Trademarks

PlayStation, PS2, and other product names, trademarks, and logos belong to their respective owners.

Their use identifies the products or technologies being discussed and does not imply ownership, authorization, or endorsement.

Copyright Responsibilities

BIOS firmware, commercial games, images, and other materials may be protected by copyright and licensing restrictions.

Describing a file, linking to it, or labeling information as educational does not grant permission to download, copy, modify, or distribute protected material.

A console’s age, discontinued status, or personal ownership does not create a blanket assurance that every BIOS download or use is lawful.

You should establish the permissions and legal requirements applicable to your circumstances.

Software Compatibility

Results may vary according to your hardware, operating system, emulator version, settings, and files.

A configuration that works in one environment may not work in another.

We do not guarantee specific performance, compatibility, or troubleshooting outcomes.

Configuration and Download Risks

Changing settings or using downloaded files can affect your software environment.

Maintain backups, review official instructions, and verify sources before using files or modifying configurations.

Where downloads or external links appear, their inclusion does not guarantee safety, authenticity, availability, or suitability.

Security tools may help assess files, but no scan or website statement guarantees that a download is harmless.

External Links

External websites operate independently and may change after a link is published.

We do not control their content, security, terms, privacy practices, or availability.

Review their policies before providing personal information or using their services.

No Legal Advice

Our content does not provide legal advice concerning copyright, licensing, or local restrictions.

If your circumstances require a legal determination, consult a qualified professional in the relevant jurisdiction.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes rights or liabilities that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
