DMCA Policy
PS2 BIOS respects intellectual property rights.
This policy explains how to report alleged copyright infringement involving material or links at https://ps2-bios.net/ and, where applicable, submit a counter-notification following removal.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act provides a United States notice-and-takedown framework. Its application and any safe-harbor eligibility depend on legal requirements and the circumstances of the service.
Publishing this policy alone does not establish safe-harbor protection.

Submitting a Copyright Notice
If you own the relevant copyright or are authorized to represent its owner, include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed. Where appropriate, a representative list may identify multiple works covered by one notice.
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material or link and sufficient information to locate it. Provide exact page URLs and relevant file or link locations.
- Contact information sufficient to reach you, including your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address if available.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its representative, or applicable law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the owner of the exclusive right allegedly infringed.
Please identify the particular material involved. Providing only the website homepage may not allow us to locate the disputed content.
For external links, identify both our linking page and the relevant destination.
Reviewing Notices
We review submitted notices and may request clarification when necessary information is missing.
Where the applicable DMCA procedure requires it, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access to identified material or links and take reasonable steps to notify the affected submitting user, where one exists and can be contacted.
Removal does not itself determine that infringement occurred.
We may also remove material under our terms or other legal obligations.
If disputed material is hosted by an external service, we can address material or links under our control. The external provider controls its own service.
Counter Notifications
If material you submitted was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification where the statutory procedure applies.
Include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed or disabled material and its location before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith that removal or disabling resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of the United States Federal District Court for the judicial district containing your address. If you are outside the United States, consent to a judicial district in which the service provider may be found.
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the original notifying party or that party’s agent.

Use the subject:
DMCA Counter-Notification
Counter-notifications have legal consequences. Consider obtaining legal advice before submitting one.
Forwarding and Restoration
Where the statutory counter-notification procedure applies, a compliant counter-notification is forwarded to the original notifying party.
That procedure generally provides for restoration no earlier than 10 and no later than 14 business days after receipt, unless the designated agent receives notice that the claimant has filed an action seeking a court order restraining the relevant infringement.
Separate lawful grounds for restricting material may also require review.
False Statements
Do not submit knowingly false notices or counter-notifications.
Material misrepresentations may create liability under applicable law.
Before submitting an allegation, consider whether the disputed use is authorized by the rights holder or applicable law.
Repeat Infringement
Where user accounts or contribution privileges exist, our policy is to terminate the accounts or privileges of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
We may also restrict abusive submissions or remove infringing contributions.
This provision does not imply that public accounts or uploads are available on the website.
Information in Notices
We may retain notices and disclose relevant information to affected parties, service providers, advisers, or authorities as necessary to administer the process or meet legal requirements.
Counter-notifications may be forwarded with the contact information required by law.
Please review our Privacy Policy for related information.
Other Complaints
Trademark, privacy, impersonation, and general content complaints may involve different procedures.
For these concerns, email [email protected] with a clear explanation and the relevant URLs.
